I feel so shamed because I fail to answer most of the questions.

But in another way of thinking, don't you think it's better to ask business scenarios rather than piece by piece functions?

BTW, regarding Simple Order, please note below in version 6.x

NOTE: The use of this screen has been deprecated and as such is no longer available as part of OTM's standard menus. It is only available through the use of custom menus. The current development plans call for this screen to be removed in the next major release of Oracle Transportation Management; it has been left here now to help ease the transition off of its use.

I have to agree with Joseph on the Wiki.."What is the max length of domain name?"

Really? If someone doesn't know the column size for domain name they aren't good OTM experts? I've been using OTM/GC3 for just almost 10 years and never came over an instance I needed to know that (I had to look at the db to find it was 50 in 5.5). I think those questions are too specific and should focus more on the general overview of the position.

Hi All,

I would like to suggest that the interview questions for OTM should like the - " How to/configuration topics in the help"

For example -

1) How to configure Cross Docks / Pools?
2) How to configure shipment depot stops?
3) How to settle an invoice?

These kind of queries will help to evaluate the person both interms of business and technicality in OTM.

Here are few more...

1) How can OTM be Configured to Send an Email Notification to a Contact Defined at Location Level when a Shipment is Created?
2) How can I set OTM to send an email when inbound integration fails?
3) How to Upload Rates and Have OTM Recognize Them in the System Without Restarting the Server?
4) How to Configure Fuel Surcharge in OTM using Rate Factor?

It would be great if the queries are broken down further based on the modules visibility / planning / rating / tenders.

2. What is the navigation for the user preference?
3. What are the main setups for the GL code creation?
4. How do you create a depot profile?
5. Hos do you setup the itinerary for a Multistop/MultiLeg?
6. How do you configure the allocation rule?
7. Can there be more than one primary contact on a Location
