    Re: Fti documentation

I'm not aware of any implementation documentation for FTI. We had to reverse engineer the bulk of it for ourselves. Here's what

From the OTM SIG User Conference, Sam has a presentation on FTI capabilities:
This website is for sale! otmfaq.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, otmfaq.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

Nick worked out some issues with the FTI installer and provided this back to Oracle. If you ask Oracle Support for the latest FTI installation guide, they'll provide you the version that includes his updates.

Within the "Reports / FTI and Other Analytics" section of the Forums, Nick has answered many threads regarding installation and usability issues with FTI.

    Hope this helps!

      Re: Fti documentation

      Santhosh,

I don't think there is any documentation on how to use FTI since it is fairly new and was just recently added. From our tests it the queries it generates are not optimized very well, some simple queries can take down an 8 CPU database server. I would strongly recommend that if you are going to use it to put this on a ROD database and be prepared to kill queries in the database generated by this.

          Re: Fti documentation

Not that I know. We have one in development, but it's not yet in beta phase.

I have heard, however, that there's going to be some very interesting FTI presentations at this year's OTM SIG conference. Not just setup, but actual real-world configuration and usage
