rates loaded only available after clear cache ?

Hi all,

when i create rates via directsql (or upload them as csv), they will only be available for rating (RIQ, planning) in the UI after a "clear cache" on rateGeoCache or after opening them once in the UI (edit, finish, no changes). Does anyone know how to avoid clearing the cache so the rates are available immediatly ?

Any hint is appretiated

I faced the same issue several times. If we would have uploaded huge data then we have to restart the DB, so that cache will be cleared. Otherwise open the records from front end, so that OTM will consider those in planning. Oliver, pls let me know the solution if you get.

Hi Laksham,

did you try using the glog.webserver.cache.CacheDiagServlet to refresh only several parts instead of restarting the DB ? In my case its sufficient to refresh the "RateGeo" cache.

Not sure but this might work. Try loading the rates with the AS.CSV format instead of CSV.

Hi,

You can also clear the rate cache using the clearcache servlet:

glog.webserver.processcontrol.ProcessServlet/?frame=TopicSpec&class=glog.server.workflow.adhoc. ClearCaches&topic=processControlLabel.Clear_Caches

With your OTM's URL, append clearcache servlet and paste it in the browser and provide Username/Password.
e.g.

http://OTM62.com/GC3/glog.webserver.processcontrol.ProcessServlet/?frame=TopicSpec&class=glog.server.workflow.adhoc.ClearCaches&topic=processControlLabel.Clear_Caches

Hi, Daniel above is correct use AS.CSV's for them, AS.CSV updates the cache, CSV does not....

What are AS.CSV format, never used them. It will be really very helpful if anyone can please a sample file with this format.
