  • [SOLVED] Unable to login as Service provider

    Hi,

We have uploaded Service provider through CSV's. (We uploaded Corporation, Location, Location_Corporation, Location_Role_Profile and Servprov).

We opened these records (locations & service providers) and there is absolutely no problem.

But when we try to login as Service Provider in OTM, we are unable to do. When we create Service Providers manually in OTM we dont face this issue.

Is there any other csv that needs to uploaded other that the above mentioned OR what else should be taken care to login as a service provider (which was uploaded as csv)?

    Thanks,
    Rajiv

Re: Unable to login as Service provider

You also need to create the Service Provider in the SERVPROV domain (manually or CSV) and link it to the Service Provider in your regular domain in menu Security Services > User Manager > Manage Association or using the USER_ASSOCIATION table

Re: Unable to login as Service provider

OTM only auto creates Servprov user ID when glog.servprov.autoCreateUser=true (default) and Service Provider is created via UI.
Please refer to Lourens' note to create Servprov user manually.

Re: Unable to login as Service provider

HELLO, i have been uploadaing the Service providers the same way through CSV's. uploaded Corporation, Location, Location_Corporation, Location_Role_Profile and Servprov. but after this i include two more tables i.e gl_user and User_Association. after this what i do is login to OTM as dba.admin and change domain context to SERVPROV and reset the password. after doing this the service provider login starts working. but the pain is when i upload 1000 Service provider. can anybody tell me a better way to workaround through this. will restarting the server help instead of resetting the password.

        Looking forward to your reply.

        Thanks in advance

Re: Unable to login as Service provider

You can use this command on the server
          Code:
          update_password.sh <glog_properties_path> <user> <password> <ifPasswords>
Please refer to OTM Admin Guide (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B...nistration.pdf) - Changing Passwords section for detail.
