    Hi,

    I am doing a multileg shipment, after creating rate records and everything, when i am giving the source and destination location details in rate inquiry my rates are populating.

    But when i am checking on route and rate its showing an error as no rate/route offering is matched. But after i did the order release i checked in create buy shipment show routing options, it is taking the valid itinerary and showing the best costs also.

    Can any one help me how to use rate & route in rate inquiry screen.

    Hey Priya, as far as I know, the RIQ tool does not work with multi-leg.

      Hi,

      For multi-leg scenario, RIQ can be used to determine rates for individual legs only. RIQ will not give any results for initial source to final destination ( as there would not be any direct rate defined for this lane).

      To test multi-leg scenario from rating stand point, "Show rates & routes" option in RIQ can be used. It will display rates for each leg in matching multi-leg itinerary ( only if everything else is properly configured)

        Thanks for the reply. I have not tried from source to final destination, i have tried on each leg only. But still its throwing an error.

        Can you please suggest how can i acheive this?

          Can you post some screen shots to show the error you are seeing ? RIQ is capable of showing both single leg and multi leg itinerary scenarios assuming you have all of the rates etc set up correctly.

            Hi Priya,

            If each leg is also throwing error, then definitely something is wrong with your Rate Offering/Rate record/ Rate Service/Rate distance.

            Please re-check them (for each leg).

            Note:
            RIQ results are not dependent on itinerary configuration; thus something wrong with rate setup only
