  • Bulk plan deletes information

    Hi,

We have a problem with the bulk plan. We have create an action that runs a procedure with a direct sql. This direct sql updates on order release the service provider and destination location fields.
After we run the action we check and the database is updated correctly (it has the service provider and destination with information), then we run the bulk plan. When it finishes we look on the order release and the service provider and the destination location are empty, they have been delete.

Does anyone has the same problem? Can anyone help us?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Re: Bulk plan deletes information

    Hi,

In order release where have you populated the service provider and destination information? (In constraints tab or some other place?) because without destination information you cannot complete an order release. If you can send me the screen shot of populated order release it will be easy to understand your question.

      Hi,
we have populated on order_release table servprov_gid field which is on constraint tab and primary_leg_destination_location field which is on the first tab.
      Thanks.

        Re: Bulk plan deletes information

        Hello,

I have seen a very similar issue. We are setting the MODE_PROFILE_GID on the Order Release from within an agent, then another agent is automatically planning.

If planning is successful, the mode profile is removed, even though it is used during the planning process.

If planning fails however, the mode profile remains.

Perhaps you should try also setting the details on the Order Base before releasing. See how this goes. I think you may see these values maintained as you expect on the Order Release.

          Hi,

After running the direct sql update, data base is correctly update but are you able to open OR from front end?

              Re: Bulk plan deletes information

You should be able to find out what is going on in the log. Run your order release agent for one single order, bulk plan this order, and post the log for these activities here so we can have a look

                Re: Bulk plan deletes information

                Hi,

I have tried what James suggested and i haven’t solved the problem but i get some conclusions.
                What I have done is
I have inserted on order base the service provider for example A , then I have created the release and the service provider A is automatically copy from order base to order release. Then I have run my agent that changes the service provider field to B on the order base and on the order release and the primary leg destination field on the order release. After these steps I check that the data is correctly changed on order base and order release (service provider is B and primary leg is C) then I run the bulk plan and the result is primary leg is empty so bulk plan has deleted the information, on the order base the service provider is still the new one B but on the order release the service provider is A the initial one, so the bulk plan has change the service provider to the first one inserted.

My question is does anyone know if this is the usual result after running the bulk plan?
And who can I solve the problem of the primary leg destination field on the order release? I don’t know if there is a field on the order base for it.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.
