    Hi Moshe,

We are in OTM 4.5 and we could not find a way to have more than one Email account so we took 2 different approaches:
    - For Internal Email addresses we use Email groups (which are configured outside of OTM)
    - For External Email addresses we created Automation Agents that will listen for an event and notify the respective secondary Email addresses.

I ignore if newer versions of OTM allow more than one Email address per contact.

    Hope this helps,

    Alejandro B.

Hi - I think the "contact group" functionality (introduced in 4.5) may be able to help you here. Check it out in the on-line help. You can define a contact group which contains multiple contacts and use that contact group within the "Notify Contact" automation agent action.

Exactly what is the process that you are implementing and therefore need to send two email notifications for ? There could be a number of different approaches.

Re-post if you have questions on that.

        Hi BMJ23,

Can the contact group be used for tenders too? We tried that approach and we could not make it to work since the tenders are only sent to the Primary Contact of the Service Provider.

        Thanks,

        Alejandro B.

          Hi Alejandro,

As far as I am aware the shipment tender workflow works slightly differently in that I think it only notifies, as you say, the primary contact email address of the service provider. Hence the interest in knowing exactly what process moshe is trying to implement...

I have not tried setting up a scenario where the primary contact for the service provider is configured as a contact group (not sure that is something you can do via the UI), but if it takes 20 minutes to set up and test that it might be worth investing that time.

If you need to implement a solution to notify multiple contacts when a shipment is tendered, then I would be looking to use workflow to notify other email addresses when a shipment is tendered (as it sounds like you have done) or using something similar with involved parties which could be added either using auto assignment rules, or if needs be, Direct SQL update (assuming it cant come from integration)...

            Hi All -
Just curious if anyone else has found a resolution for this? We have a similar situation. We want to send an email tender offer to one contact and http post tender offer to another contact for the same shipment and at the same time. Any ideas? We are on 5.5 CU4
            Thanks,
            Beth

              Hi All -
I logged this question with support and got the reply below. I was asking about sending an email tender and an http post tender. The actual tender can only be sent to the primary contact, but the information in the planned shipment can be sent via http post as outlined below.

You can set up an Automation Agent that triggers off of the Tender event (i.e. SHIPMENT TENDER - SENT) and then have it use the Agent Action "SEND INTEGRATION" to the HTTPPOST external system.
This should send the shipment information as well as any tender i
nformation for the shipment. On the selected External System, you can configure
any Out XML Profile to include the information that you wish to include in the transmission.
              thanks,
              Beth
