  • OTM Payback / ROI

    Hi,

My client wants to calculate the potential benefits of implementing OTM. We have highlighted the client specific benefits to them but they are looking for something more structured. They want to quantify the benefits and arrive at a ball-park estimate of monetary benefits of OTM.

I would greatly appreciate if anybody has devised such tool (could be excel based or otherwise) and willing to share. Thank you.

    Regards,
    -Salil

    Re: OTM Payback

    Salil,

Unfortunately, all of our tools are proprietary, so I'm not able to share them.

I can, however, recommend that you engage Oracle - as they have a good ROI calculation tool called BAT (Business Analyzer Tool) that was made expressly for this purpose.

      Chris,

Did you mean the Oracle "Business Process Analysis Suite".....

I've only heard of it referred to as Business Analyzer Tool, but there may be another internal name for it. Basically it looks at the logistics profile for the client and estimates the cost savings over the first 3 years, providing them with a realistic look at ROI.

          Re: OTM Payback / ROI

Thanks Chris. I will try to get in touch with Oracle contacts. But will Oracle be willing to share this tool with us given the fact that they are not involved in this opportunity?

            Salil,

I'm not sure if they'll share or not, but it's the only opportunity that I'm aware of to get an ROI calculation tool for OTM. Many of the consulting companies are using proprietary tools that we're not able to share.

            It's certainly worth a try!
