Can any one tell me if in OTM 6.0 can we enter 4 digit precision for volume and weight so that billing can be done with these 4 digit precision.

    Thanks & Regards

    Re: OTM 6.0 precision entry

    Hi Shaukat,

There is a property which allows it, but changing it will make it reflect in other screens also.
Else i think we need to do some customisations...

    Regards,
    Nikesh.

No property change or customization needed: you can change the precision of values in the Manager Layout

Thank you, Lourens. I absolutely cannot find anything like the screenshot that you provided though. Can you please tell me how to get to that?

Here is where I am going, under Configuration and Administration>Manager Layout>Search
This brings up about 3 pages of results, but when I click on them they look nothing like what you sent. Am I looking at the correct thing? (Also none of the results are called Gross Weight per Ship Unit, or anything to that affect.)

          Thanks,
          Janel

              Re: OTM 6.0 precision entry

OK, I'm sorry, but this is not getting me any further, either.

              I am going here
Configuration and Administration > User Configuration > Manager Layout.

I do not see a Detail tab anywhere. If I do a search, everything that is returned is in the Public domain, and I do not see an option anywhere to create a new one. I see an ITEM result that is returned, but if I click on that, it is nothing like what you uploaded?

I guess you need some OTM UI configuration training.
MavenWire's podcast - MavenWire's videos on Vimeo should be what you need, especially the latest one - MW Podcast 006 - Personalize OTM: Manager Layouts on Vimeo.

That's a good one Joseph sent you!

                  In short..

Hit Copy Manager Layout---> and Give Manager Layout name and hit finished, that will create a copy of Manager Layout to your domain(not in PUBLIC DOMAIN)

Re-query your manager layout and play around.

                    Perfect. Thank you Joe!!

Does anyone know if these are somehow available to download so that I could watch later? SO far I have tried about 3 times and it keeps stopping at different parts of the podcast and I can't get it to go any further...(i.e. 7 and ff 3.6.6)

                    Thanks,
                    Janel

                            Hey Lourens,

I have the same requirement to set the weight attributes to precision of 3 decimal points. I have got through the screen you have attached and changed the value, but i am not able to see the change happening in the Order Release or Shipment Screen. Is there any other step involved...what i am missing, do i have to deactivate the default manager layout too?

Secondly also please tell me do i need to make a copy of all the manager layouts which has an weight attribute and change the precision?

                            Appreciate your quick respose.

                            Regards
                            Ayush
