  • Default Time windows for Order bundling

    Hi :

I am trying to plan an order to see the Planning Logic in the Logs. I look at the Order Bundling process and OTM is setting a default Time window for the bundle.

Can anyone tell where this default data is picked from ?

I am giving below few statements in the Log. Please help.

    Thanks
    Jay

Never really looked into this, but, I would say from looking at the logs, that it is between current time plus 5 hours, and current time plus 5 hours and one day.

You have not put any times against the order release is that correct?

      Thanks.

The 5 hours is the GMT and EST difference.
Also I figured out that it is adding 365 days (+/-) to the Pick up and Delivery Dates.

      Thanks again.

Re: Default Time windows for Order bundling

Depending on what dates you have popuated on an order release and your date emphasis, OTM will set the start time and end time delivery windows.

If you have nothing it takes the time stamp from when you started planning and adds and subtracts 365 days on either side to set the early/late pickup and delivery dates.

          Hi Rick,

Date Emphasis will be considered to build shipment (only to validate the process of building a shipment) taking dates entered in the TR as the condition.

can you please correct me to understand if the same has any impact on the Start time and End time of a shipment which is calculated based on the transit time of that particular shipments lane.

Please correct my understanding above as i am a bit confused in understanding this Date Emphasis concept...as the same would help me greatly to solve an issue.
