  • Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) moves from 48-continguous states to AK, HI & PR

How do we need to setup OTM to be able to handle Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) moves from 48-continguous states to AK, HI & PR ?
    Examples:
    Chicago IL to Anchorage AK
    Atlanta GA to Bayamon PR

Does OTM need to know the ocean port locations (Tacoma WA to Anchorage AK) ?
If yes, is this done in the Itinerary Manager ?

    Hello Mike,

Below are the high level set up you perform for LTL Rating.

    1. Configure LTL SMC
    2. Configure LTL Master

And link LTL SMC with LTL Master with the specific carriers. For more information Query online help "Configure SMC Rateware"
    &
You can define Regions for LTL FROM and TO or you could do STATE to STATE, depending up on the business need. Until unless you define OTM doesn't know the port information. But SMC will have the rates stored in it's Tariff's.
