  • Planning Ocean Shipment Stops with particular Port Sequence

    Hi all,

I am trying plan multi-stop Ocean Shipments in OTM, but certain ports have to be the first port of call (first drop-off stop). OTM seems to have functionality using Routing Constraints to force some locations in a certain order, but I cannot seem to get it to work. OTM always ignores the location I want to be the first drop-off location and simply builds the multi-stop shipment normally.

The setup I have done so far:
Set: USE ROUTING CONSTRAINT FOR PORT SELECTION to TRUE
Created Routing Constraint: TEST_1, Constraint Type = All, Location: Hong Kong, Include, Sequence = 2, Beijing, include, Sequence = 3

OTM seems to be ignoring this and still builds my Shipment from New Zealand (Source Location) to Beijing and then Hong Kong.

In the logs, I see it looks at the Parameter set to TRUE, but don't see OTM using the actual TEST_1 Routing Constraint anywhere.

    Question:
    1. Is my setup correct?
    2. Is there any other way I can force a certain sequence of stops?

    Thanks
