  • Carrier Capacity Limit not working for Network Routing

We have 2 routes with 3 legs each from PLANTA to Customer 3, each with a carrier capacity limit of 1 per day. When bulk planning 2 order releases, it doesn't consider the second route after the first route capacity has reached.

We have 2 routes in the Network Routing Configuration:

    1. ITINERARY-1/ROUTE-1 : PLANT A to CONSOLIDATION POOL1 - CONSOLIDATION POOL1 to CONSOLIDATION POOL2 - CONSOLIDATION POOL2 to CUSTOMER LOCATION 3
    2. ITINERARY-2/ROUTE-2 : PLANT A to XDOCK1 - XDOCK1 to CONSOLIDATION POOL2 - CONSOLIDATION POOL2 to CUSTOMER LOCATION 3

Each Itinerary has a 1 Truck Capacity per day from PLANTA.

Step1: 1st order ORL-001 is bulk planned and it build 3 leg shipments and captured 1st leg capacity usage as 1 for the day. It is built with ITINERARY-1/ROUTE-1.

Step2 : 2nd order ORL-002 is bulk planned and it failed 1st leg and build with 2nd and 3rd leg again from ITINERARY-1/ROUTE-1. I was expecting it be built with ITINERARY-2/ROUTE-2

I'm on 6.4.1. Do you know why this behavior and if my expectation is incorrect?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Give a routing constraint at order level and do it.

    Thanks,
    Chandu.
