  • Order Releases are not getting planned in Bulk Plan

    Hi all,

    I created order releases and am trying to do bulk planning but all orders are getting failed. I also have tried with "Show Routing Options" but that too is also not helping. I am attaching the case study that I have followed. Do you see anything which might be missing in this case study?

    I can also post the configurations that I myself have done in word doc. let me know if it is needed, otherwise this is the doc that I have followed.

    Thanks,
    Nikesh

    Case study has much configuration steps. In initial stag, you can start with below minimum configuration and later on you can add the complexity. In initial stag, Calender are too much error prone.

    1. 2 Locations with Lat/Long with SHIPFROM/SHIPTO role.
    2. Service provider.
    3. Rate service as simulation.
    4. Rate offering (TL).
    5. Rate Record (Location - Location) (Per shipment).
    6. Itinerary (Location - Location).
    7. Order release.

      Hi Prashant,

      THanks, let me try with 2 locations for simplicity.
      Moreover I am attaching Diagonistics results for the failure. If you can take a look and figure out what could be wrong here.

      Thanks,

        Look for Rules Topic in help. There are like 10 different rules for order bundling confirm if they aren't failing.

        Also instead of looking at Diagnostic you need to look for detailed logs to find out the problem. Try clicking on the link in Diagnostic for No Leg OPTION Built and see detail there. Attach your log files with atleast the following logs. That will help us to understand where the planning is failing. First guess is that it could not build shipment on itinerary leg.

        Planning
        PlanningDetails

        Set up simple things as Prashant said and then go to next step for better understanding. Start reading log file, even when everything is running fine, it will give you understanding on what system go through while planning an order.

          Hi Anurag and PRashant,

          I see below error as guided by you guys. Can you interpret whcih setup might be missing?

          Evaluate Rate Service
          ORDER_RELEASE: 20141124-0003
          0S Failure
          Rate service infeasibility is: Service time is infeasible.
          Stop number 1 infeasibility is: Late infeasible.
          Stop number 2 infeasibility is: Late infeasible.
          Evaluate Rate Service
          ORDER_RELEASE: 20141124-0006
          0S Failure
          Rate service infeasibility is: Service time is infeasible.
          Stop number 1 infeasibility is: Late infeasible.
          Stop number 2 infeasibility is: Late infeasible.

            Re: Order Releases are not getting planned in Bulk Plan

            Hi Nikesh,

            Yes. Service Time is infeasible means that OTM is unable to pickup or deliver the shipment in the time duration it is calculating from stop 1 to stop 2.

            Do not enter any time on order for early/late pickup date and early/late delivery date and then try to plan, then see how much time system has taken to move the shipment for your order. that should be the minimum time your order must allow for it to plan.

              Re: Order Releases are not getting planned in Bulk Plan

              Hi ANurag,

              I removed the early/late pickup date and early/late delivery date and then selected 6 orders for planning. But still they are failing with below error. What should I look further here.

              I ahve attached the file with new_error having screenshot of the error.

              Failure
              No ShipmentGraph found for the current tOrderBundle.
              Failed to Create Shipment Graphs for Itineraries

              Thnaks,

                Re: Order Releases are not getting planned in Bulk Plan

                Please try planning only 1 order.

                and again click on view logs to go through. It looks like now the problem is with equipment.

                  Re: Order Releases are not getting planned in Bulk Plan

                  Hi Anurag,

                  I planned single order this time and it got planned. THough I notice a strange thing here.
                  Total Distance = 0.00 MI (attached screenshot with name= '5th Dec')

                  This shouldn't be the case, isn't it? Does it depend on latitude-longitude for source-destination location?
                  I am giving these details as below.

                  Source
                  Latitude = -25.4287
                  Longitude= -49.2241

                  Destination
                  Latitude = -25.373
                  Longitude= -49.227

                  So, coming to original issue. 1 order is now getting planned. How to find now why when I select multiple order, it fails.
                  Note: even for 1 order I did with Bulk Planning. Is it ok?

                  THanks,
                  Nikesh

                      Thanks, Anurag and Prashanth for the valuable input for Nikesh, As now he was able to plan a single shipment with single Order Release.

                      Nikesh -
                      - I would suggest you go to "OTM Fundamentals/Basic" See you can get that training in OTM Cloud which is even better. If not that's okay. and My Oracle Support has many articles on how to set this up on a basic level that would help you get started
                      - And you have to think about would you want to get those 6 Orders in 1 truck or many trucks etc. Depending on that the configurations vary

                      Hope this helps a bit to get you in the right direction.
