Logistics Guide Functionality

Is anyone familiar with the Logistics Guide Functionality? I've created a few different Routing Guide Templates and "successfully built" the guides but am generating no results after running the queries. I have created order release templates and many order releases that should appear as results but am having no luck.

After configuring routing guide, you will have to use out of box automation agent action upon order release create/modify to assign that to order.

Have you tried that?

I don't want to use it to plan Orders. I need it only for simulation purpose to use in ASK OTM: "Logistics Guide".

Here's what i did until now:
created a template using this path : Contract and Rate Management > Logistics Guide > Logistics Guide Template
i tried both standard & planning type. in standard i provided (Source Location ID,Destination Location ID,Order Release Template) and flagged the save box. whereas in planning type i filled the "Weight Breaks" section.

Then i executed it from menu Contract and Rate Management > Process Management > Build Logistics Guide

After this i was expecting to use Ask OTM Menu
"Logistics Guide" and do some simulations. When i do the search , result is null

Did i miss anything?

I was thinking of using this functionality to check overlapping rates. may be i got it wrong.

Hi Vik,

I'm sue you already tried but I will go ahead and ask any ways - When you ran query in Ask OTM -> Logistics Guide screen did you selected "Logistics Guide ID" that you would like to use?

If not would you give it a try?
