[SOLVED] Capacity Manager Problem

Hello,
I have trying to implement capacity limits into existing rates. I have loaded, via CSV, capacity groups and limits as well as checked track capacity usage and populated the capacity group on the rate offering. This worked well in development, but orders and shipments were also new. Now with existing rate offerings, the capacity usage is not generating a record despite having a capacity limit. OTM help states that a capacity limit record will generate a capacity usage record. Does anyone know why a capacity usage record may not have been generated? Could it be a system bounce issue? Does loading through CSV cause issues?

Capacity Usage records (for 1 year, if I remeber correctly) are only generated by OTM when you create Capacity Limits from UI.

There is a function in OTM called Extend Capacity Limit (via Asset Management > Process Management > Extend Capacity Limit). But not sure whether it can solve your problem. Otherwise, you need to transfer CAPACITY_USAGE records over as well.

HI,

I have done it successfully in my previous assignment.

While uploading CSV it directly update database layer so will not create usage. You have to create CSV for usage and upload.
