  • cost basis on number of delivery stops

    Hi all,

    we have a scenario in which costs are based on number of stops. In particular, we have a base cost of 100 euro and we have to add 10 euro for every delivery stop.
    Is there a rate basis in rate cost to configure this scenario?

    For example a shipment has 4 stops (A -> B -> C -> D). A and B are picking stops, while C and D are drop-off locations. So total cost of shipment is: 100 + 20 (10 for C + 10 for D) = 120 euro.
    See attached file for more information.

    Thank for every advise,

    Simpathy

    Re: cost basis on number of delivery stops

    Hi,
    stop off charges can be configured in the rate offering/ rate record attribute tab(low stop,high stop and per stop charge). this option will appear based on the offering type defined in the rate offering

      Re: cost basis on number of delivery stops

      Hi Vasanthan, tanks for your reply!

      I found them in the rate offering and rate record, but the problem is that I would like to charge a cost only for delivery stops, not for picking. Using low stop,high stop and per stop charge, I charge a cost for every stops of my shipment.

      Is there a way, maybe a particular basis, to charge the cost only for delivery stops?
      Thanks for every advise,

        Simpathy,

        You can use the rate basis Stop Activity with value of D for this.
