What needs to be set up to allow OTM to consider LTL carrier weight breaks when pricing an LTL shipment?

    Re: Considering ltl weight breaks

Setup " Rate Unit Break Profiles " with Data Type - "UNIT OF MEASURE " and UOM Type " WEIGHT"... and use that in Rate Record creation... if you hv setup Rates locally.... for LTL

If I understand this, we are set up with Czarlite for LTL rating so our rates would not be set up locally, correct? If so, should we be looking at Czarlite if our weight breaks are not being calculated correctly?

        Hi DFOLEY,

Are you rating with Ship Unit Weight or Line Item weight... for SMC

there is a seperate setup required if you want to rate shipment based on Ship Unit weight...

        Regards

We rate our LTL shipments using the ship unit rate. What special set up is needed.

          Thank you for you help.

Do you know if version 5.5 can use the "discount by weight break"
            option?

            Thank you
