Email is not sent to the service provider once shipment is tendered

  • Email is not sent to the service provider once shipment is tendered

    we have created the service provider and added the primary contact in the service provider and also we have given the same while creating order release in the involved party (party qulifier - logistics) but OTM is not sending the tender email to the service provider. Pl let me know the solution if any of you have expereinced it .

      Check the below is appropriately configured.

      =OTM HELP==============================================
      Use the Online Booking and Tendering manager to respond to tender offers. You must perform the following steps before using Online Booking and Tendering:
      In the Workflow Parameters topic found in Business Process Automation > Power Data > Event Management, you must define how each transport mode performs tendering activity.
      In the Service Provider manager, define the service providers.
      Create a primary contact for the service provider. If the service provider wants to receive tender offers via email and reply to the offers using a supplied link, enter communication method of EMAIL.
      For OTM to create a tender match, the LOGISTICS involved party on the order base must have a communication method that matches a communication method for the primary contact of the service provider.
      Only one user is set up automatically. If you want to add more than one user for the service provider, you must create that user manually.

      If above is right,

      1. Once more step to make sure, Just take the shipment gid and find out TenderOffer has been made by workflow in Transmission Manager.

      And Do you have any tender response time on contact?

        Anish,

        I would suggest you initially test on Message Centre instead of E-mail, if it works then there is something to do with you firewall setup of the mail server.

        try it andlet me know in case there is a proble with Message Centre as well.

          Make sure in the Service Providers Contact record that 'Notification On' is checked.

            Its by default on from 5.4 CU4 onwards, i think
