    OTM Start Failed

    Good day.
    I've installed a 'OTM v.5.5 CU 04' on Windows 2003 server platform.
    There also instaled a OBIEE witn OBI Apps.

    I received an ansver:

    Looks like they changed the glogdba password to be something other than the default password. Please find out if this is true. If this is true, have them check the glog.properties file, to make sure that the line:

    glog.database.password=glogdba

    has been changed to the appropriate password.

    But there is all right with passwords:

    I think that problem in OC4J, because on server installed Oracle BI and it's have own OC4J.

    I haven't had too much experience with OAS but this looks similar to the weblogic error you would get when the user id and password is the system userid/password. Please check your oc4j.conf (not sure if the oc4j filename is correct) and ensure that the password is set correctly. Usually with weblogic you would get user system denied access.

      I have installed OTM 5.5 CU5, OTM was started a couple of days back. We need to bounce the instance for some reason. While starting back the instance OTM app throws the same error as above. Below is the log. I dint changed anypassword after OTM has started. Pls let me know where the password needs to be set of OTM to start.

        Since this is happening at the JDBC level, it's an Oracle user/password issue. I'd double-check the passwords for the main OTM Oracle DB users, including glogowner, glogload, glogdba and glogdev.
