  • Screenset - Action

    Hi

Does anyone know if we can copy screensets from one domain to another domain? I have tried and i changed the domain information from the database in the backend.

Everything looks fine but at the admin site of creating the Action from User Configuration > Screen Manager > Actions Tab, I have added a Settlement group, and Batch Invoice Generate action. The action is tied down to a user-defined action from the Action Manager. So when i add this action, it will reflect the real action "inv_batch_create".

After i copy the screenset from another domain, the action added does not reflect "inv_batch_create" anymore. It simply displays "Batch Invoice Generate". I have checked the xml from the Finder_Set table in the database and the Action element looks fine. Is there any implications from there?

    Re: Screenset - Action

    Hi,

I did this kind of thing before and my procedure is always to create first a screenset ID through the front end.
When done I copy the XML from the finder set table into the new create record.

Normally that does the trick. All actions etc. are in that XML.
    Best Regards,

Can you tell me how did you copy one screen set from One domain to Other Domain? That will be helpful! Thanks!

Like what bob_romijn has suggested. You create a new screenset in the Other Domain. Login to the DB table, copy the XML of the finderset table from One domain and replace it with the newly created screenset. I also like this idea.
