  • Deploying a java war file in OTM

    Hi,

Can any one clarify the below:

    1. How to deploy a java war file in OTM.(an external java application).

    2. 2. Can we integrate BAM(business activity monitoring application) into OTM, as BAM is also a Oracle product(part of SOA suite).

Also which among the above 2 is suggested for integrating with OTM?

    Thanks

Re: Deploying a java war file in OTM

    Hello,

Please be aware that deploying war files under OTM is unsupported and will cause your OTM instance to also become unsupported. If you'd still like to investigate, then you'd be deploying under Tomcat on your OTM web server. The deployment is the same as you'd use for any Tomcat instance, so look under $OTM_HOME/tomcat/webapps. You'll also need to make appropriate changes to server.xml and worker.properties.

As for BAM - I'm not aware of any built-in integrations with OTM. I've seen BAM in use, but believe you're looking at custom integration and configuration to get the two to work together.
