  • Table name for Event diagnostics

    Hi All

In Event diagnostics , we see the agent utility value to identify otm load.

I have a requirement to set up a new recurring process, which will run only when Agent Utility is less.

I want to know the table name, where i can find the value of agent utility..

    Thanks in advance
    Sam

Re: Table name for Event diagnostics

Event Queues are in the momory not in DB tables.

What you can do are using Scheduled Performance Collection (via Configuration and Administration > Technical Support > Scheduled Performance Collection) or glog.server.event.EventDiagCommandLine to generate event queue statistics, and then create a server side corn job to parse the statistics files and insert a recurring process record into PROCESS_CONTROL_REQUEST table or send a Topic XML (see http://www.otmfaq.com/forums/f18/cus...030/#post10499).

    The syntax of glog.server.event.EventDiagCommandLine is
    Code:
    java [-Duser.home=<user home dir>]
          -Djava.security.auth.login.config=<OTM home>\glog\config\otm_jaas.config
         glog.server.event.EventDiagCommandLine
         [-user <gc3 user (DBA.ADMIN)>] [-password <gc3 password (CHANGEME)>]
         [-encodedPassword <encoded password>] [-server <server>]
[-file <output file or !BYDATE (STDOUT)>] [-dir <outputDirectory>]
[-loop <# of iterations (1)>] [-sleep <iteration delay in sec (60)>]
[-reset] [-maxEvents <maximum # of queued events (300)>]
[-threads] [-events] [-xml] [-memory] [-data] [-oracle]
         [-help]
    for example,
    Code:
    java -Duser.home=/app/OTM -Djava.security.auth.login.config=/app/OTM/glog/config/otm_jaas.config glog.server.event.EventDiagCommandLine -user DBA.ADMIN -password CHANGEME -memory
    Note:

    Performance Collection
    • The feature is available in 5.5 CU4 or later
    • The feature is only accessible to DBA.ADMIN
    • Set glog.diag.output.ftp.encrypt=false otherwise you may not be able to parse statistics files
    glog.server.event.EventDiagCommandLine
    • It seems only working with Weblogic
    • Specify gc3_jaas.config in OTM 5.x
