JROCKIT while Installing OTM.

Hi,

While installing OTM, Is it mandatory to install JROCKIT or can we skip it. What are the pros and cons by doing the same.

Jrockit will be installed as part of the OTM installer if you are running Weblogic on Intel hardware.

If you install a JDK out of what is shipped you'll be running on unsupported software and may have issues with getting help from Oracle support.

Stay with JRockit, it is much better than the Sun JDK and is about twice as fast performance-wise.
