  • [SOLVED] System upgrade for OTM 5.5 CU5

    Hi All,

I am in a situation where i need to upgrade a pc to install OTM 5.5 CU5. The system is having Windows 32 bit OS and 100 GB Memory space and 2 GB RAM.

Can any one suggest how much should i upgrade my memory, RAM etc., for me to install and run OTM 5.5 CU5 without any hassle in operation.

No sure how you can run an OTM in a PC for oprtation.

I have an OTM running on my laptop only for testing purpose. Due to 32 bit Windows only can recognize 3GB memory, I can only allocate 768 MB each for OAS and Tomcat.
This is just enough for me to start up OTM and do very simple processes.

I definitely agree with Joseph, in order to be productive with OTM, you'll want 4-8GB of memory for OTM. As a result, you'll have best luck with a Linux box.

With OTM v6.0, this goes up and I'd recommend 6-12GB for a simple personal instance.

I would like to install otm 5.5 in my laptop for testing purpose. I want to directly download it from eDelivery.oralce.com. Do i need to get the free trail license from Oracle to use it?

        Thanks.
