Deployment Issues while Installation: OTM5.5 CU6

Hi Friends,

I am in the process of installation OTM 5.5 CU6 in the following setup:
Solaris 64 Bit V5.10
OTM 5.5 CU6
Oracle Application server
Oracle 10G
Solaris VMware
3rd party components

While starting the application server we are getting errors as mentioned below.
Can any of you let me know how this application.xml is deployed?
The error log says as follows :

You are the second one, in the forum, having problem with 5.5 CU6 on Solaris VM - http://www.otmfaq.com/forums/f23/otm...n-issues-2472/

I don't see anywhere mentioned that it is supported.

Oracle Transportation Management is supported under Oracle VM. The platform where the VM is running must be supported by Oracle VM, and the guest domain must be supported by both Oracle VM and OTM.
Any Oracle VM-specific bugs must be addressed by the Oracle VM Support team. Any OTM bugs or performance issues that cannot be replicated by OTM Support that appear to be related to the VM must be replicated by the client on a non-VM system, or addressed by the Oracle VM Support team.
Running OTM under a non-Oracle VM has not been tested. That said, there is nothing inherent to OTM to prevent such a setup. However, any bug or performance issue that OTM Support cannot replicate will need to be replicated by the client on a non-VM OTM instance.

OTM Installation Gurus,
I now use the dedicated Solaris environment (which I need for the PoC) and it gives the same error.
Pls let me know how to troubleshoot this?
Requesting your time as It is a little urgent for me now.

At first glance, this appears to be a permissions issue. Are you using standard Unix permissions, or specialized ACLs? My initial guess is that the App server startup is attempting to expand the EAR files and is not able to - hence it isn't able to find the application.xml files.

One of the reasons I believe this is that you're seeing the error with both ascontrol.ear (which is not an OTM EAR file, just the basic one for OAS) and also for GC3App (which contains the OTM code).
