  • First Prod to Dev Refresh - Getting Error When Trying to Create Order Releases

    Hi everyone!

We have just completed our first DEV rebuild from a PROD environment, in preparation to install some 6.1.3 patches. (Currently we are on 6.1.2)

During the initial testing to verify all the connections, etc were working, I noticed that the EBS POs were coming over OK, but they were NOT automatically Releasing (Which we have an agent setup to do, upon the event Order - Created) I then tried bringing over a Delivery from EBS and it did not succeed either. Upon looking through the Log Files, they all seem to originate from the same type of error.....the below is what we are getting. Not having much luck finding any hits on Metalink, here or Google, or anywhere for that matter...Just wondered if anyone on here had ever come across anything similar? Thanks!!!

    EBS PO errors:
    cause.AgentLoader_getEventVariableDefinerFactory (Pk=class glog.ejb.orderbase.db.ObOrderBasePK)

    cause.AgentLoader_getEventVariableDefinerFactory (Pk=class glog.ejb.orderbase.db.ObOrderLinePK)

    EBS Delivery errors:
    cause.AgentLoader_getEventVariableDefinerFactory (Pk=class glog.ejb.order.db.OrderReleasePK)

Take a close look at the transmission log in OTM for where the tables are being populated. You should be able to see the actual query being run.

The above errors could indicate a problem with the sequence numbers that are being used. You can validate that from the sql insert statement in the log file.

If this is the case you need to reset the sequence to begin with a number larger than already used.
