  • Mapping BPEL Instance ID with OTM Transmission

    Hi,
Is any one aware of a relating BPEL instance ID with the transmission no in OTM?
We are thinking of using the SenderTransmission no element on the Transmission header to acheive this but I am curious to know if there is a better way of doing it.
We are attempting to track the performance of transmissions and trying to gauge where the time is consumed between end to end, like how much time was taken in SOA, how much time did OTM take to process the request so and so forth...

    Thanks and Regards
    Rajas

    Rajas,

I guess we could do it the other way round, if the idea is to check integration latency. I believe the source system receives TransmissionNo from OTM via TransmissionAck. If the TransmssionNo is stored in the Integration Layer, you could trace the receive and/or sent times backwards from OTM.

    Thanks,
    Raj

Correct - this is currently a very tedious and time-consuming operation when debugging the OTM/BPEL integration.

Our thought was to customize the BPEL flows and ensure that we were storing the OTM transmission number in an easily searchable location.
