  • FTP not working on 6.0.4

Does anyone have the experience of using FTP on 6.x?
I have followed what is suggested in the administration readme.txt to put the 3rdparty jar in place.
    (commons-net-1.4.0.jar)
And an external system of FTP with user/password is setup.
Unforunately however I got this when I tried to send any transmission to this external system:

"TRANSMISSION OUTBOUND DEBUG: FTP Verbose Output Open 10.129.100.7
    220-Microsoft FTP Service
220 Welcome to access the xxxx Server FTP
    Login as user ADMINISTRATOR
    230-Hello!
    230 User ADMINISTRATOR logged in.
    Change working directory to bill
    250 CWD command successful.
    Set connection mode to active.
    250 CWD command successful.
    Put file AGL/SH/D1.OR100308-0001-ORDER-000005.xml
550 AGL/SH/D1.OR100308-0001-ORDER-000005.xml: The system cannot find the path specified.
    Logout of server
    221 Good-bye!
    Close connection
    "

    Look at this:
550 AGL/SH/D1.OR100308-0001-ORDER-000005.xml: The system cannot find the path specified.

It seems to be the XML file can not be generated so it gets a 550 issue..
    Did I miss anything?

OK - since nobody is replying my post at all, I am now attaching what I've figured out in case in the future any of the folks meet the same.
The 550 issue is really about the "/" brought by the subdomain. For my case above, the system thinks "AGL/SH/D1.OR100308-0001-ORDER-000005.xml" is D1.OR100308-0001-ORDER-000005.xml under folder AGL/SH. Since AGL/SH doesn't exist on my FTP server, so it throws a 550 error.
I don't think there is any workaround for this since neither Windows nor *nix supports "/" in the file name..

On the same line if it helps, we had the issue because of Parent Child Domain by changing the BNRules =<BNRule:Parent/Child.FTP_FILE_NAME.DEFAULT,FTP_FILE_NAME.DEFAULT>

we are able to FTP to the Remote directory say /ABC/XYZ and the file gets created correctly.
