[SOLVED] Oracle's 2007 Timezone Patch Impact to OTM

Oracle recently released a 2007 Timezone Patch (official name is something like: Common Wealth Games patch) - I had a couple questions on:

1 - has anyone w/ OTM vs 5.0+ applied this patch and noticed an impact to OTM or has anyone heard there might be a negative impact to OTM?

2 - One of the requirements for the patch is an Oracle version of 9.2+, is there a work around if the client software is only 9.0.1?

Also, if anyone has any background on how timezones work in OTM (I know there is the UTC program and a table in the property files that deal w/ timezones), the info will help in analysis.

DST issues with OTM

We also have been struggling with the DST changes. We will be adding the over rides to the glog.timezone.properties file to accomodate the changes. I'd like to get a comparison with some other users monitoring the list. Below are the entries I am planning on putting in the file based on my understanding of the format. Also, we are tring to determine if we need to upgrade the database from 9.2.0.6 to 9.2.0.8. We would like to leave it as is, but the recommendation is to upgrade.
