  • Planning to swich to 6.2.10

    Hello guys,

We used OTM v6.2.4 since 2012 and would like to upgrade to version 6.2.10 in few months. Do you have any recommendations, suggestions or precautions?

    Thanks.

    MK.

Re: Planning to swich to 6.2.10

    Hi,

OTM 6.2.x support has been ended by Oracle hence, you need to pay extra money to continue for extended support

However, if you still want to move from 6.2.4 to 6.2.10 then, there is a patch need to be applied on both OTM Web and Application Server
You will find exact information according to your OS on Oracle Support

    Thank you

If you have limited customizations, I would suggest moving to the Cloud Service version of OTM. If you have a bunch of customizations in place (PL/SQL in Agents, customs screens you've developed), then I would suggest analyzing those to see if there are Cloud friendly alternatives. It is worth checking into because the Cloud version has its advantages.
