  • Export to Excel

    Hi All,

When I do an export to Excel from reports I see that data for certain fields are displayed in Long Numbers. Is it possible to restrict this behaviour in report codings, such that the data displayed in the exported excel sheet is similar to the one generated in report.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Yes you can restrict in reports by converting it to string when writing the data in the file.

    Thanks/Rahul

      Re: Export to Excel

      Hi Friends,
We are trying to build reports in xls for OTM 5.5. It seems 5.5 supports only pdf and HTML. Would be of great help if you could let me know how to do the export to excel from reports.
      Thanks.

Hi, I'm using RAQ Report. I find it very good. Maybe you can try RAQ Report. It's a free excel-like reporting tool. RAQ Report can export to Excel, Word, PDF as shown below:

Design interface of RAQ Report is similar to EXCEL as shown below:

You can download free RAQ Report at www.raqsoft.com.
