  • End dating User record

Our company policy states we are not allowed to delete a user record once created but instead end date it. How can I end date a user record in OTM?

    Re: End dating User record

    Dear James,

Under "User Management", there is a link called "Account Policy". In Account Policy one can define the "Expiration Duration" in terms of number of days. It also have a feature of "warning period to alert a user that their password is about to expire". This account policy can be attached to a user by the time of creation ot one can update in "List Users".

Below is one of the account policy that come default in system.
STANDARD - includes 90 day Expiration Duration, 1 day warning period, 10 used password history, 3 attempts before lockout, 30 minute lockout duration, 120 day for account dormancy, active login history, and several common rules for password content.

    Regards,
    Lakshman
    Cheers,
    Murthy
