Dear friends of the OTM SIG,

On behalf of entire SIG Board, I would like to thank you all for attending our educational series. Your active and dynamic participation made this event a successful one.

This was our first attempt at fully online sessions. We had attendees from 30+ countries, making this a truly global event. Across 12 sessions (4 days) we had about 4200+ registrations, 2400 total attendees and hundreds of views on our YouTube channel (otmsig.com/youtube).

I would like to take this opportunity to extend special thanks to all the speakers, panelists and SIG Board members who worked hard and tirelessly to put together excellent sessions for us.

Abstract: OTM’s Freight Payment, Billing & Claims module is popular with both shippers and LSPs, who use it to settle invoices from service providers, bill their customers, and manage other financial aspects of their logistics and transportation operations. In this session, the Oracle Product Management team will walk attendees through all of the latest improvements in the financials area.
Marybeth Roberts is Senior Software Architect and is responsible for product architecture design and solution approaches for Oracle OTM and GTM products. She has a key focus on the end to end logistics solutions in the Supply Chain Management product family. Ms. Roberts has 30 years of experience in the transportation management software space. Ms. Roberts was a founder of G-Log (Global Logistics Technologies) acquired by Oracle to be their transportation solution. At G-Log, Ms. Roberts was Vice President of Software Development responsible for the transportation product and design. Prior to founding G-Log, Ms. Roberts was at Manugistics, Inc for 12 years and had the role of Director of Architecture, reporting to the CTO. Ms. Roberts holds a BS in Computer Science from Juniata College.
Ashok Kalidindi is Director, Product Development and leads the team responsible for Oracle Logistics Cloud product. Mr. Kalidindi is responsible for research and development covering areas of Transportation Rating, Execution, Tracking Events, Brokerage and Freight forwarding, Financial, Technical & Cloud Infrastructure, Integration and Global Trade Management. Mr. Kalidindi has more 20 years of experience in ERP and SCM software industry with expertise in product development, engineering and support. Mr. Kalidindi holds a Master of Technology in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.

Taking Advantage of GTM Cloud: A Migration Story

Abstract: We get it. Upgrades take resources, time, and focus away from daily operations. Migrating to the Cloud is becoming the new normal as Oracle's quarterly upgrades consistently improve the GTM platform. In this presentation you'll learn about Redwood teaming up with a Global Industrial Manufacturer as they migrated from GTM 6.3.3 to 19c. Redwood's migration solution helped move 2 million Trade Transactions from their on-premise system of record to the Cloud in a span of four weeks using a combination of integration, scheduled processes, and CSV uploads. With a quick turnaround time, Redwood was able to implement new features not available in previous GTM versions to help the client manage Restricted Party Screening, Compliance Screening, and Classification processes.
Tom Meisinger is a Solutions Consultant for Redwood and resides in the Chicago area. He's spent the last 7 years working with OTM/GTM as a Planner, Product Manager, and Consultant. He was on the project team for one of the first OTM Cloud implementations back in 2015.

Logistics Network Modeler (LNM) - Using One Tool with Alternate approaches To Execute Strategic and Tactical Transportation Modeling in the Cloud

Derek Gittoes is vice president for supply chain management product strategy and leads the team responsible for Oracle’s portfolio of cloud products for logistics and order management. He is responsible for defining the go-to-market strategy and product road map for Oracle's solutions in transportation management, inventory management, warehouse management, global trade management, and order management. Mr. Gittoes has 25 years of experience in supply chain software. Prior to joining Oracle in 2003, he was vice president of product solutions at G-Log, where he was responsible for product marketing. Mr. Gittoes was also a founder and managing director of Transport Dynamics, a company that specialized in the development of optimization software for transportation companies. Mr. Gittoes holds an MS in engineering from Princeton University and a BS in industrial engineering from the University of Manitoba.

A Grocer's one stop tool for Transportation

Abstract: In an increasingly digitized world, consumer expectation is shifting from shopping for an item in-store to a seamless delivery of goods to one’s door step. Similarly, expectations for grocers are rising at an alarming rate. Consumers are demanding the freshest produce, the widest selection of goods, and all of this must be offered at the cheapest price. As consumer expectation continues to rise, the margin of error in grocery supply chains inevitably decreases. Many companies are responding to this pressure by digitizing and creating robust processes to ensure products are delivered on time and in full (OTIF). Oracle Transportation Management establishes a variety of transportation solutions that play an integral role for the shipper to plan, execute, and settle inbound freight shipped from suppliers to DC's/Hub's as well as outbound freight to stores and end customers. The application’s expansive suite of capabilities can be grouped into three main value-drivers – Planning and Optimization, Execution, and Freight Settlement.
Satya Vabilisetty is an experienced professional with 14 years of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) experience in implementing & supporting core modules of Transportation Planning & Execution, Visibility and Freight Settlement. He has done multiple end to end implementations for Manufacturing , Distribution and High tech clients including 3PL industry. Satya has a very good domain knowledge in the transportation industry. Overall he has 18 years of TMS experience. Apart from the above core modules, he has expertise in OTM Sourcing, Quote Management, Freight Forwarding & Brokerage and Fusion Transportation Intelligence. He is an Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Certified Specialist
Derek White is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, LLP in their Enterprise Operations – Synchronized Planning & Fulfillment practice. Derek is an experienced professional with 5 years of experience working with JDA (BY) TMS, JDA SCPOweb, and Manhattan WMS. Derek has performed end to end implementations and operate projects for clients in the Life Sciences, Retail, and Quick Service Restaurant industries.

Using OTM Dock Scheduling as an Effective Time Booking Tool

Abstract: Implementating OTM's Dock Scheduling solution for the world largest beverage manufacturer with the goals of reducing detention charges and enabling carriers to select pickup appointments based on individual plant operations in a time booking model (instead of a traditional resource scheduling model).
Lakshmideepak has worked with CapGemini for over 10 years. He has been part of the OTM practice there for the last 6 years. His focus is on leveraging OTM as a value add in his customer's supply chains.

Joe Johnson is 28-year veteran of Information Technology with a diverse and eclectic background in infrastructure, development, multiple ERP systems and, of course, OTM. Currently, Joe is the IT global support lead for logistics.
Narendra Patel is having 15+ years of IT experience in Supply Chain domain with expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Oracle ERP - EBS R12/11i.
Worked on end-to-end OTM implementations, support and upgrades projects as a Techo-Functional and Solution Architect role with experience in all functional, technical and integration aspects of the application. Expertise in OTM modules, Inbound and Outbound Logistics business process since last 11 years.
Deep functional knowledge of logistics and supply chain domain, specifically Inbound and Outbound logistics and shipping process for Manufacturing and Auto Industry.

Oracle Support Open Forum

Abstract: The Support Open Forum will be a session filled with tips and tricks from the OTM Support Team covering the following topics:
- Patching: The session will review key notes, like the recommended patch list for on-premise clients, as well as weekly and quarterly patch bundles (QPB) available in the cloud.
- Tools: Using the qdlogs and OTM Analyzer for on-premise data collections, as well as showing how these tools have evolved in our cloud release to make data collection and troubleshooting much easier.
- Configuration and Performance collections: Review the primary configuration and performance collections available for on-premise and cloud clients.
- Troubleshooting Tips: What you can do to find the problem using the diagnostic tools available in OTM.
- What information to provide when logging an SR: We’ll provide some tips on the type of data needed for different problem types.

Oracle Logistics Cloud Product Development Update

Abstract: This session will cover the latest release information for Transportation and Global Trade, including release dates, support plans, and feature highlights of recent and near term releases, with a focus on some of the technical innovations in our OTM / GTM Cloud.
Jim Mooney is Vice President of Logistics Development for Oracle, where he is responsible for the development activities around Oracle's transportation management (OTM) and global trade management (GTM) products. Prior to joining Oracle in 2005, Mr. Mooney was a founder and the Chief Technology Officer at Global Logistics Technologies (G-Log), where he was responsible for product development, support and hosting services. Prior to starting G-Log in 1999, Mr. Mooney worked twelve years at Manugistics where he launched their TMS product.

The NEW Logistics Digital Assistant

Srini Rajagopal is Senior Director, Logistics Product Strategy at Oracle. He has responsibility for the team that leads the strategy for Oracle Transportation Management and Global Trade Management. Srini was part of the G-Log team and came to Oracle in 2005 as part of the G-Log acquisition.

3-4PM Darigold's voyage to a comprehensive ocean solution

With over 16 years of experience in Logistics and more than 6 years in OTM, Manoj is a Partner at Accelalpha, leading the Delivery organization for OTM and GTM. He and his team have been implementing OTM for over 20 years. Manoj is a former OTM SIG Board Member.
