Best Practices for Implementing OTM and GTM Cloud Projects
      Chris Knowlton, Oracle

Beginning in early 2015, Oracle introduced the Implementation Success Program as it began rolling out OTM and GTM onto the Cloud. Implementation Success Managers are now in place to assist customers and partners with working their way through cloud implementations. The ISM’s are Chris Knowlton and Carol Overcash, both experienced OTM and GTM professionals. They are in place to ensure successful go- lives and to ensure exceptional customer experience. This session will provide:
      • A better understanding of what the Oracle Implementation Success Program provides for Cloud customers and partners.
      • A list of best practices when implementing OTM and/or GTM on the cloud.
      • Some feel for challenges implementing OTM and/or GTM on the cloud.

Supply Chain in Hi-tech Manufacturing driven by OTM
        Sree Guru Sankaran, Cisco

In Cisco Supply Chain, products are built, packed and shipped from various Con gure to Order (CTO) and Build to Stock (BTS) locations across the globe. Products are sent to 3PL Partner to manage warehouse operations and shipped to end customer by logistics partners. OTM was implemented to handle these multiple and complex scenarios. As part of this paper we will discuss on the current process ow, challenges faced in implementation, Learning and Bene ts achieved because of OTM Implementation.

OTM Security in an Evolving Threat Landscape
Ryan Haney & Anoop Jangamakote, MavenWire

In 2014 and early 2015 security breaches dominated tech news. From Target and Sony to P.F. Changes, companies were not only targeted for credit card and financial data but also for corporate emails and information. This presentation focuses on securing OTM from the infrastructure, technical, and functional perspectives. The presentation will cover known risks and OTM’s risk pro le, best practices for OTM infrastructure security (including database and operating system hardening), and using OTM’s functional tools (such as user roles, access control lists, account policies, VPD, and domain structures) to ensure data separation and security within OTM.

One function, Two Approaches – comparing Document Management in OTM and GTM
            Andrew Shang, Oracle Consulting

Document management is an important area in both OTM and GTM. There have been quite some enhancements in recent releases. Document management functionality in OTM and GTM are very similar yet there is difference. This paper will go through the overall functionality, compare the different approaches, share con guration tips and go through some case studies.

Using Stored Procedures in OTM Agents
                David Tremain, OmniSource

This session focuses on OmniSource’s experience using stored procedures in agents - why we chose this option, how we successfully implemented stored procedures, issues we encountered, and pitfalls we suggest others avoid. OmniSource, a regional scrap recycler, uses OTM to manage one of the most important parts of its business - transportation. In the scrap business, there is a saying that "If you move material more than once, you’ve lost money on it." One of Omni’s biggest challenges is managing their private fleet, across many divisions, union shops, differing pay rules, etc. In order to improve OTM performance and simplify maintenance, we have implemented some of the required functionality using stored procedures.

The Next Generation of Fleet Management
Srini Rajagopal & Sundar Arunapuram, Oracle

Come learn about the latest advances to Oracle Fleet Management and how we are tackling the
core transportation issue of optimizing holistically across eet and non- eet resources. See in a live demonstration how to leverage OTM’s latest UI advances to provide a flexible and intuitive decision-making environment incorporating interactive real-time map and Gantt capabilities. See how to use the Transportation Workbench to help visualize your shipment, order and driver relationships, and make decisions considering the details of their state, their relative geographic positions on the map, and over time on the Gantt. Learn about advances in planning and optimization capabilities incorporating the current state of your eet and dedicated eet resources in the Bulk Plan itself, resulting in their optimal utilization. We will also speak to the near-term roadmap vision for how eet management in OTM is evolving to enable you adopt blended eet strategies and effectively optimize your transportation needs across carrier, dedicated and private fleet capabilities.

                            Efficient Support System
                            Beth McLamb, MavenWire

This session will describe what a support system around OTM application should look like. In the area where complex design leads to many different kind of failures in application processing like corruption of data or failure of agents, increases the workload for support personnel exponentially. However, many organization support professionals become habitual of doing things manually, fixing data, retriggering workflows. This presentation will lay down guidelines on increasing the efficiency of support professionals and make support an activity without stress.
