  • OTM SIG Elections in Dec -- Action Required

    All,

In December the OTM SIG will be holding elections to determine the new Board for 2010-2011. I highly encourage everyone to participate, either by running for a Board position (you can do it!) or by voting.

First - if you'd like to know more about the election process, please join the next OTM SIG quarterly call on Tuesday December 8th. Full details are available here:For those that would like to participate on the OTM SIG Board, please fill out the attached Candidate Form and return to Christine Hilgert (her email is in the document), by December 18th. I highly encourage you to run. The available positions are:
    • NA based User (6)
    • EU based User (1)
    • APAC based User (1)
    • Consultant (3)

Of these, one User Board Member (not a Consultant) will be the Chairperson. It is vitally important that we get enough User members to ensure that the community is both lead and driven by OTM Users. Now for everyone else, I encourage you to vote. This will determine the leadership of the OTM SIG Board, which directly affects your user community. Please note that you must register with OAUG prior to the election to be eligible to vote. I've listed out the steps (with screenshots) below:
    • Go to http://www.oaug.org/
    • On the right upper side: click on "my oaug profile" (if you don't have one, you will create one here)

Re: OTM SIG Elections in Dec -- Action Required

Just as an update - the elections kicked off a bit late, as there were some technical difficulties. They are currently running, however, and close on February 3rd. If you're a member of the OAUG, you should have received an email with a URL to login.

If you haven't and you are a member of the OAUG, then I'd recommend contacting Caleb Warner to resolve.

Good luck to all and I can't wait to see who's on the next Board!
