Hi Everyone,
I have come across an issue with the Spot Bid tender and this is something I have never faced before. I have raised an SR with Oracle but wanted to get your opinion as well.
Scenario - Shipment (2 carriers on that lane A &B) goes through regular tendering and finds no carrier ( either carriers declines/ tender timed out), Shipment status updated to SECURE RESOURCES_NO RESOURCES. The user initiates Spot Bid to 4 new carriers (C, D, E & F). All 4 carriers submit their bid ($90,$100,$110 &$120 respectively), and the user awards the Bid to Carrier C but carrier C declines it.
Expectation: The system would update the status to SECURE RESOURCES_NO RESOURCES since there are no carriers available
Behavior: The system retenders the shipment to the next least-cost carrier in the spot bid list which is carrier D in this case.
